Little Wings is the winning proposal for the new Multi-Purpose Covered Court and Annex Building at Kaohsiung American School.
The project is designed as more than a sports facility. It creates a new center for daily campus life, bringing together athletics, learning, gathering, performance, and community events within one flexible environment. The covered court and annex building form two wings around a central campus agora, creating a welcoming shared space where students can meet, watch games, study, participate in events, and spend time together throughout the school day.
Responding to Kaohsiung’s climate, the design emphasizes shade, natural light, airflow, and openness. Its aspiration is to strengthen the connection between students, teachers, families, and the wider KAS community, while creating a place that students will use every day and remember long after graduation.
